A space for organisations
and social change

Over more than 70 years, the Estudi General Lul·lià has been a meeting point for institutions, cultural initiatives and organisations committed to the social, educational and heritage development of Mallorca. Over time it has hosted bodies such as the Reial Acadèmia de Belles Arts de Palma, the Reial Societat Econòmica Mallorquina d'Amics del País, the School of Tourism, the UNED and the Commission for Artistic and Historic Monuments of Mallorca, among many others.

The Estudi General Lul·lià continues its historic vocation as a hub for organisations, foundations and associations with social, cultural and environmental impact - a living space where infrastructure, knowledge and synergies are shared to drive transformative projects across the territory.

A network of organisations and collaboration

The EGL is currently the home and meeting point of a range of initiatives, including the Fòrum de la Societat Civil, the Fundació d'Iniciatives de la Mediterrània, Palma XXI, Tramuntana XXI, Mallorca Preservation Foundation, Ascenso Akademie, the Fundació Baltasar Coll Tomàs, the Fundació Marilles and Amics de la Terra.

Collective thinking for the common good

The Estudi General Lul·lià promotes dialogue, reflection and debate on the great social, environmental and cultural challenges of our time. Through lectures, conferences and gatherings, it encourages critical thinking and public participation to build, together, a fairer, more sustainable and more cohesive society.

The Estudi General Lul·lià currently hosts the following organisations

Palma XXI
A citizens' association promoting debate on the future of Palma and a more liveable, sustainable and conscious city.
Fundació Marilles
A foundation dedicated to protecting and restoring the Balearic sea and its ecosystems.
Mallorca
Preservation
An international foundation supporting projects in environmental conservation, biodiversity and landscape restoration.
Fòrum de la Societat Civil
A network of organisations fostering public participation and collaborative work in Mallorca.
Fundació d'Iniciatives de la Mediterrània
A foundation driving social, cultural and educational projects with community impact.
Ascenso Akademie
An educational project focused on critical thinking, creativity and innovation with social impact.
Fundació Baltasar Coll Tomàs
A foundation promoting social and educational initiatives centred on inclusion and community wellbeing.
Amics de la Terra
An environmental association working for environmental justice and sustainable ways of living.
Tramuntana XXI
An organisation dedicated to preserving the Serra de Tramuntana and to sustainable development in the region.
Climate Academy
An initiative building climate awareness and action through training, outreach and public participation.
