Over more than 70 years, the Estudi General Lul·lià has been a meeting point for institutions, cultural initiatives and organisations committed to the social, educational and heritage development of Mallorca. Over time it has hosted bodies such as the Reial Acadèmia de Belles Arts de Palma, the Reial Societat Econòmica Mallorquina d'Amics del País, the School of Tourism, the UNED and the Commission for Artistic and Historic Monuments of Mallorca, among many others.

A network of organisations and collaboration

The EGL is currently the home and meeting point of a range of initiatives, including the Fòrum de la Societat Civil, the Fundació d'Iniciatives de la Mediterrània, Palma XXI, Tramuntana XXI, Mallorca Preservation Foundation, Ascenso Akademie, the Fundació Baltasar Coll Tomàs, the Fundació Marilles and Amics de la Terra.
