The Estudi General Lul·lià is a building of great historical and cultural significance in the centre of Palma, hosting academic, cultural and institutional activities. Because its spaces are so distinctive, every event calls for particular care over set-up, logistics and fitting in with the centre’s day-to-day activity. Below is a selection of frequently asked questions intended to make organising and running events on site easier.
Set-up and dismantling times must be arranged in advance with the venue management team. We recommend planning any special technical or logistical requirements well ahead.
Vehicle access is limited and subject to prior authorisation. Depending on the type of material and the size of the load, we will indicate the most suitable loading and unloading point.
Each space has basic technical equipment, detailed in its description. Any specific requirements for sound, lighting, projection or staging must be arranged by the event organiser.
Drilling, fixing or otherwise altering any architectural element, including walls and ceilings, is not permitted without express authorisation. Mounting systems must be suitable for a heritage building and supervised by the technical team.
The centre has a limited number of tables and chairs, which must be requested in advance. Any furniture brought in from outside must be compatible with the space and approved beforehand.
Yes, provided permitted noise levels and time restrictions are respected. Certain activities may require specific permits or technical adjustments.
Yes, provided the rules on cleaning, safety and protecting the building are observed. Catering services must be arranged in advance.
We recommend sharing all technical and logistical information at least two weeks before the event to ensure proper coordination.
