Solar self-consumption and commitment to sustainability

The Estudi General Lul·lià is reinforcing its commitment to sustainability and the energy transition through the installation of a solar photovoltaic self-consumption system. The initiative forms part of an active strategy to reduce its carbon footprint and to back more responsible energy models in line with today's environmental challenges. The installation, with a capacity of 9,570 Wp, allows the academy to generate a significant share of the energy it consumes cleanly, renewably and independently. The project was made possible with support from the Balearic Islands Energy Transition Investment Plan (PITEIB), funded by the European Union through NextGenerationEU. Through this self-consumption system, the Estudi General Lul·lià not only optimises its energy resources but consolidates a model of management consistent with its values, contributing actively to a more sustainable future.
