Winning Project 2026
Laboratori Llull has selected the winning project for its 2026 Artistic Creation and Residency Grant. Artist Chirine El Ansary has been chosen with Mundus Vocalis, a bilingual (Arabic-English) performance that brings the texts of the Sufi mystical tradition into dialogue with the thought of Ramon Llull.
Mundus Vocalis is a project that connects spirituality, memory and landscape to reflect on the relationship between people and the places they inhabit, establishing a dialogue between the sacred geographies of the Mediterranean and Llull’s legacy.
The project will be developed as part of the Laboratori Llull artistic residency programme and will culminate in a public presentation on 27 November 2026 in Palma.
