Eclipse 2026: Survival Guide

Lecture by Pep Marcús

The session “Eclipse 2026, Survival Guide” aims to provide a clear and practical introduction to prepare for this year’s total solar eclipse. The activity will explain in an accessible way what an eclipse is, the phases it goes through, and the specific features of this event, focusing on the observation experience in our region.

In addition, essential recommendations will be shared to ensure a safe and satisfying observation: using certified equipment, appropriate materials, basic precautions, and common mistakes to avoid. The proposal seeks to turn an exceptional astronomical phenomenon into a safe, informed, and scientifically rigorous collective experience.

The ticket price includes ISO-certified eclipse glasses from the ASTROMO brand. Additional pairs will be available for purchase at the event.
